Overview
Short Description
Gloucester’s most cherished tradition is celebrating a milestone year—join us March 28 & 29, 2026, for the 40th Annual Daffodil Festival: Anchored in Tradition!

For four decades, the Daffodil Festival has brought our community and visitors together to honor Gloucester’s rich heritage, dazzling daffodils, and welcoming spirit. This year, we’re pulling out all the stops to make the celebration unforgettable. Headlining entertainment will feature Bobby Blackhat and The Deloreans, ensuring the weekend is filled with incredible music and energy.

The festival will bring more than 200 unique vendors to Gloucester Main Street, alongside delicious food, local treasures, and engaging activities for all ages. Visitors can enjoy living history with the 7th Virginia Regiment interpreters, explore Virginia’s remarkable story through the VA250 Mobile Museum, and experience the breathtaking Daffodil Show at Newington Baptist Church. The beloved Daffodil Festival Parade will kick off Saturday morning with extra flair in honor of our 40th anniversary.

Special celebratory events are planned throughout the weekend to mark this significant milestone, making 2026 a festival you won’t want to miss. Whether you’ve been part of the tradition for years or are discovering it for the first time, the 40th Annual Daffodil Festival promises a weekend anchored in tradition, bursting with joy, and filled with daffodil beauty.
